Reading
Reading is built one skill at a time — letter sounds, phonics and decoding, fluency, then comprehension. We test to find the skill that's actually missing and teach it directly, rather than guessing from a grade level.
Instruction is structured and evidence-based, delivered by a certified, LETRS-trained team. It works for readers who need to catch up and for students with dyslexia.
Math
We go back to the concept a student actually missed — number sense, place value, fractions, multi-step word problems — instead of just getting tonight's homework done.
Students work with hands-on tools and explain their thinking out loud, so the skill holds up on the next unit, not just the next quiz.
Handwriting
Letter formation, spacing, sizing, and writing stamina, using the Learning Without Tears program — from pre-writing strokes through fluent, legible writing.
Practice comes in short, playful bursts, which is what turns writing from a daily fight into something your child will do without being asked.
